I had a conversation with a man yesterday about Newark, the commercial and residential development happening, the people moving into Newark from New York or the mid-west or wherever.  We talked about Newark’s nightlife and the quality of living for residents.  Then he said, “You know what Newark needs?  A comedy club.”  And I agree completely.  However, let it be known that if you’re looking for a laugh, Justin Williams and Steve Serra have been hosting Brick City Comedy Revue for a year now.  Where have you been??

Last Thursday night, Brick City Comedy Revue celebrated its one-year anniversary.  Kilkenny Ale House has been the host venue for that time and The Newark Times was in the room Thursday to take in the show.  And in between being doubled-over with laughter, we took some pictures.  Have a look-see…
