This week, the Brick City Supper Club met once again to enjoy good conversation, laughs, and good food at one of Newark’s fine restaurants.  This time, the restaurant chosen was Fornos of Spain.

Located on Ferry Street in the Ironbound section of Newark, Fornos of Spain – casually referred to simply as “Fornos” – has been bestowed numerous awards and proclaimed by various national magazines as a “must” when dining out in New Jersey.

Their award-winning cuisine is prepared with the freshest seafood. Their extensive wine cellars offer over 450 aged and vintage wines and they claim to have the rarest collections of Spanish wines in the United States.

The group that gathered this week was more intimate than normal for Brick City Supper Club, with about 10 people in attendance.
