As part of a vision to create dynamic collaborations, and a thriving local economy, Forward Ever Sustainable Business Alliance is partnering with a group of local organizations to address issues currently impacting our community and our nation.

Celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, and creating a more inclusive call to action to accelerate gender equity, resistance, and advocacy is at the core of this event.  All are welcome to come network and learn how to get connected to what’s happening on the local business landscape and learn more about Newark’s soon to come “Buy Local” Program which will be open to all to join (property owners, renters, students, commuters, visitors, etc.) earn a credit toward property taxes OR receive a cash reward for shopping with local businesses.

Attendees will meet local Planned Parenthood leadership and learn about the Top 3 Things You Can Do Right Now to ensure our community doesn’t lose health access for 1000’s of women and men. Learn more by clicking here.

Also in attendance will be the local leadership from Indivisible Guide-Essex County; the comprehensive guide and best practices for getting involved in the local resist movement.

Since December, the guide has been downloaded over a million times. More than 4,500 local groups have signed up to resist the current administration’s agenda in nearly every congressional district in the country.

Forward Ever Sustainable Business Alliance is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to support, promote, educate and advocate for a strong local business community. We also seek to raise public awareness of the economic and cultural benefits that are provided by a strong local economy.”

Our overarching goal is to rebuild the economy from the ground up, bringing businesses together to advance THE LOCAL ECONOMY MOVEMENT, economic and environmental sustainability, and economic inclusion.
