HappyFest, the country’s first mainstream obstacle course designed for people of all fitness levels and ages, will be taking place at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ on Saturday, June 17th, 2017. What makes it unique is that all the the obstacles on the field are handicap accessible. Additionally, because the course is autism- and down syndrome- friendly, every member of every family is able to enjoy and participate in this day of live music, games and fitness together.

The concept was inspired and founded by Adam Stengel, whose oldest son is in and out of a wheelchair. He recognized that not everyone was able to participate in “Tough Mudder” and other likeminded fitness events, making some feel left out, so he sought to create a course that worked for people of all ages and abilities. Enter HappyFest!

After the great success of the first HappyFest in May 2016 and the follow up event in Long Island in October, HappyFest returns to New Jersey this month.

Obstacle courses and activities to include:

  • Tire Run
  • Rope Swing
  • Challenge Wall
