New Community Corporation, the Newark-based nonprofit organization that
provides affordable housing, health care, early childhood education and job
training to low income residents will be hosting their 21st Annual Golf Outing at Montclair Golf Club, 25 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ on Tuesday, June 30th.
The charitable event raises funds for New Community’s Harmony House, a
transitional housing facility for homeless families, and youth programming,
including the Monsignor William J. Linder Scholarship Fund.
Formerly homeless residents who are currently staying at Harmony House will attend the evening reception, which begins at 5:30 p.m., to share their personal stories about facing homelessness and receiving support in order to achieve self-sufficiency through Harmony House.
