Three-time Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum-selling singer, songwriter and producer R. Kelly is set to hit the road for the second leg of his “Buffet Tour,” which will include a return to Prudential Center on Saturday, October 8 – his fourth appearance at The Rock since the arena opened in 2007.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, June 29 using an exclusive promo code released only through R. Kelly’s social media accounts and Ticketmaster’s VIP mailing list.

Ticket prices, inclusive of facility fees, range between $70-130 and will go on sale this Friday, July 1st at 10am via www.Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and charge by phone at 800-745-3000. Tickets will be on sale at Prudential Center’s box office beginning Tuesday, July 5 at 11 a.m.

Promoted by The Commission Presents, “The Buffet Tour” is one of R. Kelly’s most entertaining shows to date. “The Tour of the Century” finds the King of R&B performing all his greatest hits accompanied by a live band, dancers, full production and many surprises, including songs his fans have never previously seen performed live.

“I’m extremely excited to head back on tour and see all of my amazing fans,” says R. Kelly. “‘The Buffet Tour’” is one you don’t want to miss. I’ve changed everything for this show, including the stage setup, plus the production is crazy!”

The concert continues Prudential Center’s success with R&B, Hip Hop and Rap programming. In December 2015, Busta Rhymes hosted the sold out Hot for the Holidays concert in celebration of his 25 years in Hip Hop music, with special guests Fetty Wap, French Montana, Jadakiss, Jeremih, Lil Kim, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Method Man, Puff Daddy, Raekwon, Rick Ross and Sean Paul. The building has also welcomed Avant, Charlie Wilson, El Debarge, Jagged Edge, Jaheim, Kenny Lattimore, Maxwell, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Tank and Toni Braxton in the last year alone. Past Prudential Center performers in this genre have also included Alicia Keys, Akon, Estelle, Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Sade, T-Pain, Tina Turner and Usher.

“He’s by far the most theatrical figure in R&B,” explains The New York Times.  “He was riveting, slicing and dicing notes into jagged shapes. Mr. Kelly is a precise and flexible singer, able to summon hurt and church and ecstasy at will.”

Lauded as an R&B legend, R. Kelly is one of the most successful artists of all time with over 40 million albums sold worldwide, three Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, six Billboard Awards, and eight Soul Train Music Awards.  His chart-topping hits range from “Bump N’ Grind” and “Your Body’s Callin” to Grammy Award-winning “I Believe I Can Fly” and everything in between.  In addition to recent collaborations with Lady Gaga (“Do What U Want”), Justin Bieber (“PYD”), and Bruno Mars (“Gorilla” remix),  R. Kelly has scored hit songs for Michael Jackson (“You Are Not Alone”), Celine Dion (“I’m Your Angel”), Maxwell (“Fortunate”) and countless others.
