The 8th Annual Newark Boat Launch will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 10am at Riverfront Park Riverfront Park (Find exact location here). Newark students from 4th – 12th grade have learned about Newark’s nautical history, studied the science behind boats, and worked together to build a wooden canoe or sailboat. Now it’s time to launch!
There will be launching 6 boats launching, built by Barringer STEAM Academy, LINK Community Charter School, North 13th Street Tech, Paulo Freire Charter School, People’s Preparatory Charter School, and University Heights Charter School.
