Recently, Braven released its highly anticipated 2024 Jobs Report, showcasing the remarkable career outcomes achieved by graduates. With data from a new study by the Burning Glass Institute and Strada Education Foundation revealing that nearly half of college graduates end up in jobs unrelated to their degrees, Braven’s results underscore the importance of empowering students with the skills, networks, and confidence to secure strong economic opportunities.

Here are some national and local highlights:

**Quality Economic Opportunities:**

In 2023, 238 Braven Fellows at RU-N earned bachelor’s degrees, with 83% identifying as people of color. This new class has exceeded their peers nationally in strong job attainment by 25 percentage points, with 68% securing strong jobs within six months of graduation compared to the national average of 43%.

**The American Promise in Action:**

Nationally, 76% of Braven graduates are outearning their parents at the same age in their very first job out of college.

**Building Career Wealth & Health:** Just six months post-graduation, Braven graduates nationwide earn above the national average salary of early career college graduates. The mean salary of full-time employed FY23 Braven graduates was $57,667, compared to the national average of $50,122 for recent college graduates aged 23-24 who worked full-time in 2022 – a $7,545 uplift.

**Internships:**

In 2023, RU-N graduates were 24 percentage points more likely to have at least one internship during their college experience compared to their peers of color nationally (65% vs 41%).

**College Completion:**

Braven Fellows at RU-N have achieved an impressive 94% on-time graduation rate, significantly higher than the national average of around 7 in 10 Braven Fellows’ peers who graduate college on time.
