Mello Mel, Hip-Hop and Drum ‘n’ Bass Producer/Engineer and Sound Designer based in Newark, NJ and resident audio artist at Solo(s) Project House hosted the official release party for his new album, entitled FOSHO. Mello Mel is also a charter member of a super producer group called “The Freq Show”. Which consist of 8 producers/ DJs hailing from northern New Jersey pushing the envelope of beat-making, production & DJing and bringing it to live audiences in the tri-state area.
FOSHO is a multi-genre electronic album, with the fundamentals of Hip Hop, House, Drum & Bass, and Chill Trap, which was created over the last two years in Mello Mel’s studio at Solo(s) Project House. A fun-filled night with music and giveaways, and a special performance by world-renowned tap dancer Maurice Chestnut along with Mello Mel together as “The Above Ground Project” and live beat sets by FREQ SHOW members NuCents, KRAK, Mr. Arcade and FatBlood.
