Lynette Lashawn (aka The Queen of Making A Scene) shared, “In the vibrant tapestry of Newark’s fashion scene, I weave threads of cultural pride and community connection, amplifying voices and stories through the art of style. I am inspired by the authenticity and rawness of how we show up in the world. So, to include the voice of so many Newark designers through their art is something that inspires me and motivates my own artistic journey.”
