Following her massive success at the 2025 awards season, Avery Sunshine is scheduled to perform live in Newark on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 8 PM.
The concert serves as a celebration of Avery Sunshine’s recent GRAMMY® win, where she was honored with the award for Best Progressive R&B Album for her latest project, So Glad to Know You. Known for a voice that is smooth, vibrant, and filled with power, Avery blends ’90s R&B, gospel, jazz, and neo-soul with contemporary lyrics to create a sound that perfectly embodies her name.
A Career Defined by Soul and Success
Born Denise White in Chester, Pennsylvania, Avery’s musical roots began in the church. Alongside her Grammy Award-winning creative partner, Dana “BigDane” Johnson, she has crafted a signature soulful R&B style that has earned praise from industry legends:
