Community groups in Newark are invited to apply for up to $5,000 in funding to support neighborhood beautification and revitalization efforts through the Love Your Block, Newark! program. This initiative offers reimbursement-based funding and targeted support, including technical assistance and capacity-building from City agencies, to help revitalize neighborhoods and foster community-building.

• Youth-led projects
• Projects in the Ironbound neighborhood
• Groups that have not received prior Love Your Block grants

• March 10, 6:30-8:00pm – West Ward (Cohosted with Councilman Dupre Kelly’s Office)
• March 11, 6:30-8:00pm – Central Ward (Cohosted with Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District)
• March 13, 6:30-8:00pm – South Ward (Cohosted with Weequahic Park Association)
• March 18, 6:30-8:00pm – North Ward (TBD)
• March 21, 6:30-8:00pm – East Ward (Cohosted with East Ward Community Center)
• March 26, 6:30-8:00pm – Virtual Session

Additionally, individuals interested in becoming grant application reviewers for Love Your Block, Newark! are invited to apply. Reviewers will be asked to attend an orientation session and review at least two grant applications (a commitment of approximately 5 hours).
