Newark resident and 20 year-old college student, Makeba Green, will be releasing three of her finished projects – two books, Successful Leaders of New Jersey Volume I, Entrepreneurship, the Best Job in the World and her own magazine titled OMG Enterprise.
For her book project, she interviewed 1,000 people and will release a new volume each month to help inspire, give exposure to, and motivate the future through the stories of successful people from various backgrounds, races, and ethnicities. The people who were interviewed for Successful Leaders of New Jersey include the chief of staff of the City of Newark, Amiri Baraka, Modia Butler Chief of Staff to Senator Cory Booker, Darren Dowdy C.E.O of Razac Products, Councilman Anderson of Bergen County, and Talia Young, Assistant Vice President of Public and Government relations for City National Bank.
Green’s second book entitled Entrepreneurship, The Best Job In The World is designed as a guide for other young people who wish to start their own business, to help encourage, motivate them to the next level.
OMG Enterprise is a magazine that is created for the youth, by the youth, to give them a platform in which to educate, empower, expose, and motivate each other through various events that target important subject matters ranging from political, economical, to business, networking, etc.
