The City of Newark, Prudential, and other organizations will host the Newark Small Business Summit on Wednesday, January 14th. The summit will run from 8:30am to 4pm at New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Mayor Baraka will deliver welcoming remarks followed by Prudential Financial Vice Chairman, Mark Grier.
At the summit, Mayor Baraka and his administration will speak on their vision and agenda for small business development to local and regional business owners and entrepreneurs. There will be panel discussions with experts on small business development and growth, workshops on financing and start-ups, and information sessions.
