The conversation spanned a number of talking points.  Police Director Venable spoke on the efforts being made to engage the community and break down the walls of distrust that have existed in Newark for decades.  Otis Rolley spoke the role of Newark CEDC and how businesses can and should utilize the organization to grow and continue to compete as the business landscape in the city shifts.  He also spoke on the community redevelopment the city is experiencing in spaces such as Newark Riverfront Park.  Mayor Baraka addressed the response to his effort to bring a casino to Newark.
