If the city’s economy, vibrance and diversity is most evident in it’s nightlife scene, the future is looking pretty bright. At least that was the indication last night at Skylab. You may not be too familiar with the name, but that makes sense. It isn’t exactly open for business yet. Surely, though, you’ve heard of the new Hotel Indigo downtown on Broad Street and the swanky rooftop bar. Well, that haven of swank has a name. And that name is Skylab!
Last night, Rashawn Davis hosted the Innovators Rooftop Happy Hour. The official start time was 6pm, and as the night progressed, groups of Newarkers spilled out of the elevators to share laughs, drinks, and the spectacular view that Skylab has to offer.
