Earlier this afternoon, Mayor Baraka and Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose held a press conference to update Newark residents on the City’s snow removal efforts. Many residents have expressed disappointment in the response time of the snow removal efforts. The mayor spoke on the larger picture of the city-wide effort and issues that interfered with the snow removal operations throughout the city as well as the partnerships and support of the county, the state and local Newark residents.
