Wednesday, August 5th, The Newark Times, in partnership with Newark Riverfront Revival presents the 3rd installment of Riverfront Culture Fest at Riverfront Park. The summer performance series has been providing a diverse array of entertainment for the local community and has successfully brought many Newarkers from other neighborhoods to the Ironbound.
Riverfront Culture Fest has featured wonderfully talented poets, musicians, dancers, and this Wednesday will feature poet, Blackberry Molassez and “Jersey Club Kween” Uniiqu3. This week’s event will also be a collaboration with People’s Open Mic, the longest running open mic series in Newark, NJ.
Beginning at 6pm, crowds gather on the lawn (by the orange sticks) at Riverfront Park overlooking the Passaic River and the Red Bull arena. Bring your blanket, lawn chair, and a cool drink and make an evening picnic of it!
