The Bank On Newark Financial Inclusion Summit will bring together members of the Newark Asset Building Coalition (NABC), financial institution partners, local government leaders and community members to explore strategies and solutions to obtain financial independence for Newark residents.
Bank On Newark under the umbrella of the NABC, was developed to help Newark residents obtain free or low cost accessibility to bank accounts. Banking partners include Bank of America, Chase, Citi Bank and Wells Fargo and will offer consumer friendly products and information on how to navigate the consumer finance marketplace successfully. Expert panelists and speakers will lead a discussion on the Newark Free Tax Prep program, Newark Asset Building initiatives and an overview of the local banking landscape.
The Bank on Newark Financial Inclusion Summit will take place on Wednesday, May 22, at Essex County College, Harry Smith Lecture Hall, 303 University Avenue, Newark, NJ. The program is scheduled to run from 10am to 2pm.
