This one of a kind experience will kick off August’s national ‘Black Business Month’. The purpose of the Black Business Crawl is to stimulate the local economy and to help further circulate the black dollar within the black community, and to have fun while doing this. Statistics show that the black dollar only circulates one time within the black community before it leaves. Compare this to Latino communities who have a circulation of 6 times, Asian communities have a dollar circulation of 9 times, and white communities dollar circulate an infinite number of times. This business crawl is a way to directly disrupt this statistic and to help increase the black dollar’s circulation.
