Mayor Ras J. Baraka and members of the Newark Municipal Council, welcomed Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus with the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center President Hugh Weber, Ringmaster David Shipman, the Mongolian Marvels Troupe, and Ringling Bros. clowns this morning in the City Hall First Floor Rotunda.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey returns to Newark for a series of performances at the Prudential Center from March 12-15th.
As part of the fun, local students from the Newark Day Care Center will receive a sneak preview of the all-new Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Circus XTREME.
The event will celebrate the return of the Circus to Newark and the City of Newark Community Voucher program that provides discount tickets to City residents.
