The New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center will usher in the holiday season this year with their annual toy drive today. The drive will benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program as the team takes on the Detroit Red Wings at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the game can be purchased at NewJerseyDevils.com.

Devils players’ wives will join representatives from the U.S. Marine Corp. around the Prudential Center to collect toys and donations. Fans who provide three or more new, unwrapped toys or donate a minimum of $20 to the cause will receive a voucher for a ticket to an upcoming Devils game. Following the collection, the toys will be distributed to hospitals, orphanages, and underprivileged children throughout the community.

The toy drive follows a successful Devils food drive, which was held on November 15. The Devils and Prudential Center collected more than 16,000 pounds of food for the second year in a row. Prudential Center’s 50/50 raffle also raised $7,800 for Community Food Bank of New Jersey, the beneficiary of the food drive. The Devils and Prudential Center will continue to support community members in need this season with their annual coat drive December 20 during a visit from the Washington Capitals.
