The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC®) has announced its highly anticipated return to Newark’s Prudential Center for UFC® 302, scheduled for Saturday, June 1. The event promises to deliver an electrifying night of mixed martial arts (MMA) action, featuring a lineup of thrilling matchups and unforgettable moments.

After setting a new attendance record at Prudential Center during UFC® 288 in 2023, headlined by Aljamain Sterling vs. Henry Cejudo, UFC® 302 marks the tenth UFC event to be held at the renowned arena since 2007.

Tickets for UFC® 302 will go on sale on Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m. ET, and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com. UFC Fight Club® members will have early access to tickets starting on Wednesday, April 10, while a special Internet ticket pre-sale will be available to UFC newsletter subscribers on Thursday, April 11.

Dana White, President & CEO of UFC, expressed excitement about bringing another marquee event to Newark, stating, “The City of Newark and Prudential Center have always been great partners to us. UFC 302 is going to be fun!”

The fight card for UFC® 302 includes several compelling matchups, including a pivotal showdown in the middleweight division between Roman Dolidze and Anthony Hernandez. Additionally, bantamweights Ailin Perez and Joselyne Edwards will look to settle their rivalry, while an action-packed bout is set for the 155-pound division between Grant Dawson and Joe Solecki.

Local favorite Mickey Gall, fighting out of Green Brook, New Jersey, will also make his return to the Octagon to take on Bassil Hafez in the welterweight division.
