In 2011, Frank Ocean dropped his breakout mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra with the single “Novacane”.  His debut studio album, the Grammy Award-winning Channel Orange, was released in July 2012 to critical acclaim and reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Then a year past…and another…and another.  Four years later fans began to vocally wonder when new Frank Ocean music was coming.  That time is now.  Ocean has released his sophomore album, “Blond” with 17 tracks and an awesome list of collaborators and contributors. We’re talking about Beyoncé. And David Bowie. And Kanye West. And Kendrick Lamar.
The surprise release on Saturday night actually came two days after Ocean debuted a visual album called “Endless” with 12 songs and interludes over 45 minutes. He collaborated with R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan, Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead and British artist James Blake.
“Blond” is available on iTunes and is currently streaming on Apple Music.
