Paramount Assets officially opened two residential apartments with a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning at 30 Clinton Street and 40 Clinton Street downtown Newark, blending upscale, contemporary living with historic charm.

Originally built in 1908, the buildings were once home to Seton Hall Law School. Today, they offer studio and one-bedroom units with hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, and all-in-one washer/dryers in each unit. Tenants enjoy several on-site amenities and conveniences including secure building access, a state-of-the-art video surveillance and intercom system, basement storage, a trash chute, a lounge, a gym and a relaxing rooftop terrace with elevator access.

“These adaptive reuse preservation projects provide a unique living experience in the heart of Newark’s vibrant downtown,” said Richard Dunn, Senior Vice President of Paramount Assets.  “Paramount Assets if proud to offer another exceptional opportunity to live in a building of special historic significance so beautifully preserved.  We are especially proud of our expertise and experience in this area, and the opportunity to preserve the beauty and character of these buildings, while contributing to the revitalization of this great city.”

Rather than a demolish and rebuild approach, the eco-friendly alternative to real estate development that is Paramount Assets hallmark promotes a sustainable realization of Newark’s transformation while upholding its history for years to come.
