The biggest night in hip hop culture is coming back to the Brick City. HOT 97, New York’s premier station for hip hop, has officially announced that Summer Jam 2026 will take place live on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Produced in partnership with The Black Promoters Collective, the legendary concert continues its decades-long legacy as a global destination for music fans and industry icons alike.
This year’s powerhouse lineup was curated by HOT 97 Assistant Program Director Katrina B and the legendary DJ Funk Flex. The roster delivers an incredible mix of global superstars, culture-defining voices, and breakout drill and rap collectives.
A Massive New Jersey Homecoming
At the center of this year’s excitement is a special welcome home performance from New Jersey’s own multi-platinum artist, Fetty Wap. Returning to his home state stage, the garden state native is set to anchor an evening that celebrates local roots alongside massive national acts.

The star-studded lineup features:
- Industry Heavyweights: French Montana, Max B, and Rick Ross.
- Global and Cultural Icons: Ice Spice, DaBaby, G Herbo, and Nigerian Afrofusion star Omah Lay.
- The New Wave: Cash Cobain, Zeddy Will, Honey Bxby, Sleepy Hallow, and the Brooklyn drill collective 41 (featuring Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter, Tata, and Dee Billz).
Moving the Culture Forward
“This year’s lineup reflects the sound of the moment while honoring the artists and communities that continue to move the culture forward,” said Kudjo Sogadzi, EVP of Content & Growth at MediaCo. “From legends to the next generation, Summer Jam 2026 is built to create unforgettable moments.”
Known for its historic surprise guest appearances, legendary link-ups, and unmatched energy, Summer Jam remains a defining moment for the tristate area. Organizers have noted that this initial drop is just the beginning, with additional artists scheduled to be announced on June 5.
